Sudoku9 Puzzle 4 Instructions

This is a classic Sudoku puzzle based on the usual 3x3 grid and numbers 1 to 9. This one is rated as "medium" difficulty at this level.

After starting the game (by pressing the green button), you will see the number grid with the "given" numbers on it and also three buttons. There is a "check" button at the lower right that you can click to see if you have got all the numbers right, a "clear" button with a red background at the top right which restarts the game (be careful not to press it during the game), and a "Notes on/off" button at lower left.

To add a number to any of the squares, drag one of the coloured numbers which are just below the number grid into the centre of one of the squares (make sure that the "Notes" button is set to "off"). The number should then appear in that square in the colour blue.

If you put the wrong number down, then simply drag and drop another one on top of it. If you try to drag it on top of one of the starting "given" numbers you will hear a warning sound and the number won't be replaced.

The "Notes" button allows you to add up to four numbers in the corners of each of the squares to help while you are working out which may be the correct one. To add a note, click on the "Notes" button, then drag one of the coloured numbers below the number grid into one of the squares. If the number is already there as a note, it will be removed. If it's not there it will be displayed in one of the corners of the square. When you set the number in the square (when the "Notes" button is off), all the notes in the corners will be cleared.
