Largest Number Triangle Puzzle Instructions

The aim of this puzzle is to place each of the numbers from 1 to 9 in the circles which are placed along the edge of a triangle such that the four numbers along each edge when added together give the same number for each edge. It is also the largest total possible! You can only use each of the numbers from 1 to 9 one time.

For example, if you place the numbers 1,2,3,4 along the bottom edge then the total would be 1+2+3+4 = 10. You would then have to try to fit the numbers 5,6,7,8,9 in the other circles so that adding the numbers along each edge would give a total of 10 (which is not possible and therefore not the solution!)

As usual, press the "GO" button to start and you will then see the number triangle. The numbers 1 to 9 are shown below the triangle and you can drag any of these numbers into a circle. If you want to change a number in a circle then just drag a new number on top of it.

When you have filled each of the circles you can then press the "Check" button to see if you are right. If you want to restart the game at any time then press the "Clear" button.
