Octopus Jigsaw Puzzle Instructions

This is an interactive jigsaw puzzle in which you have to put the pieces onto the grid to make the picture.

Click the green GO! button to start and you will see a grid with the jigsaw pieces around the edges. To see the complete picture, move the mouse over the grid and it will appear. You will have to remember it though, because as soon as you move the mouse out of the grid it will disappear again! You then have to pick up the pieces around the edges and drag and drop them onto the correct square of the grid. If you get it right, you will hear a noise and the piece will stick in the grid. If you get it wrong, your piece will zoom off back to it's original position!

If you get all the pieces in the right places then Trixie will appear.

You can restart the game at any time (or after you have finished the game) by clicking on the "Clear" button at the top right hand corner of the screen. Each time you start the game, the puzzle pieces will change positions.

Supervisor:Even younger children can enjoy this game - at the start it may be easier if you move the mouse but allow them to pick the piece, its final position and control the mouse button. This game helps with learning mouse control and with visual recognition and memory.
