A Cowboy Riddle

Cowboy Dixie comes from the town of Rumbleweed. He has to get a new saddle for his horse, so he rides to the next town. He gets there on Thursday and finds out that it will take some time for the saddle to get made. He stays for three days, then rides out on Friday. How can that be?!
